Pine Company
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Description:
Pine Company is a factory-building game about anomalies that affect gameplay. Some are dangerous, others surprisingly helpful. You can fight or adapt to anomalies, build a colony, cultivate plants and create new production lines.
You lead humanity’s last operation on a planet full of surprises. People had no other choice but to stay on this land and hope you can save them.
When lethal plants begin to spread, progress slows, and the focus shifts from simple construction to survival. Your goal becomes clear: develop machines that can protect people from the hazards and guide your colony through the chaos.

Tried out the beta. Could not progress. Got to Assemble Factory. It is not clear what I am supposed to do. I put down the mining drill, put down a factory and set it to processed iron. Then I put down an assembler and set it to assemble factories. Nothing progressed past that point. Disappointing because i love factory games (Foundry is my fave which also started on itch) and it won't let me progress.
There should be a quest title in the top left of the screen saying attach a drill to the factory using conveyor belts. Still, thanks for the review, I’ll be working on clarity of the progress.
Yes, I put down the drill, attached conveyors going to the factory. Then it gave me assemblers. I then put down conveyors going to the assembler and set the recipe to factories, since the quest says Assemble Factory. Nothing progresses after that.
It finally progressed past that ONLY after I built a mining drill on copper, a new factory and made copper ore into processed copper.
Now I cannot progress because I have no idea how to get manufactured items out of the depot.
Are you talking about extractor quest? If it’s so, you should just place air extractor anywhere and build a belt just like with the drill. Thank you for giving feedback! It really helps the project.
Pretty neat to play, although a few things aren't as obvious (like how the city connection comes from the rocket, which is the only real thing that the rocket does), but the sound and graphics were neat!
I did find it weird how a few buildings could output to 'sideways' conveyors, and that there was no setting to disable pausing on lost focus, but that's on me I suppose!
I appreciate the review. For the upcoming update, I would add more things to make the experience better
Just damn good, love it and hope you bring it to steam! would buy it by the way, love automation and this is doing greate and see your passion working on it!
Thank you!
